A forum that I joined not too long ago organized a photo shoot designed to be a class especially for beginners or for those whom have not tried their hands on model shoots.

There were supposed to be 3 models initially, but due to the lack of time the organizers were unable to find a 3rd model. Jamie and I were designated 'models' for the shoot. Unfortunately on the day of the shoot, Jamie felt unwell, and I became the sole model for the day.

The location selected was Bukit Jalil Park and there were about 15 photographers present. It was quite bewildering because I didn't know where to look... there were cameras everywhere! Nevertheless I enjoyed the shoot because the photographers were all very nice and gentlemanly.

4th Shoot at Lake Gardens with Matt Marzuki

My fourth shoot did not involve much wardrobe deliberation but a lot of experiments with poses and looks. I told the photographer Matt Marzuki that I am not good with serious expressions, and he was patient and kind enough to help me get it right after a lot of trials and errors.

Even then, I didn't quite nail it and I still have a lot of work to do on that.

All the pictures are unprocessed pictures and the Black and White shots were shot like that straight from the cam.

Throughout the shoot it was either me or the photographer on the tree... haha...

The preparation for the shoot was extremely stressful... body toning, body massage, no bra on for at least 24 hours to avoid strap and other marks, body exfoliating, ointment to prevent spider webs etc etc etc...

The shopping for the bikini took me quite a while too; couldn't find something that is to my liking and suits me at the same time. It finally boiled down to a choice between gold and silver... I look better in gold but the size of the bikini bottom was too big for me (no more left)... In the end I settled for gold despite the hiccup. After seeing the pictures from the shoot I knew that I made the right choice because the gold really brought out my features well...

I applied baby oil for the shoot, and I was told later that I should have used cocoa butter for longer staying power. This I discovered to be sound advice because I had to reapply the baby oil twice for the shoot as the skin absorbed it very quickly.

Shoot was organized by Eugene from Photomalaysia. Photographers were Eugene (gene), Tiwi (c-law) and Kien Huo (zerocusa).

Location of shoot - abandoned railway track and abandoned building in Shah Alam.

Everybody complained that the white top I wore for the first shoot at the abandoned railway track was not flattering to body curves and many of the shots made me look pregnant :(

Nevertheless, everybody liked the blue dress I wore for the abandoned building shoot. Special thanks to my sister for that (she'd know why haha)...

By the time i donned on the black dress, I was pretty tired already and I guess it showed on my face. Pictures turned out ok, but it is no longer there, the chemistry.

All in all, I'd like to thank the photographers for making this happen :) It was a very enjoyable experience.

My First Ever Photoshoot :)

Shoot was at a mini waterfall situated in FRIM, Kepong. 4 photographers, 1 model (me), close to 4 hours of non-stop photography. We were rather experimental, given that we sticked to only one area for the entire time, an area the approximate size of a football field :)

Many thanks to the 4 photographers i.e. Kien Huo (lurker/zerocusa), Eric Wong (erwcw), Andy Wong (awongphoto) and Geoffrey.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself, getting wet and all... hahaha...
